During your first visit, Diane will answer any questions that you might have. She will then discuss confidentiality, your rights as a client and she will go over your intake paperwork with you. She will strive to get clarification on your background and what brought you into therapy. She will also seek to understand what you need and what you are hoping to accomplish in counseling. Then she will explain how you both will create a plan together. This is a collaborative process so she can help you create therapeutic goals and a treatment plan.
Diane offers a ‘comfortable and cozy’ office.
Tables, toys, art supplies, sand trays, and other hands on activities such as feelings flash cards, fidgets, puppets, etc. brought out as needed.
Diane also offers Secure (HIPPA Compliant) Telehealth Video Sessions. She will also come to your home for special circumstances as well as meet up in other private places and outside.
