Self-Care & Creating Healthy Habits- Plan Ahead!
I have met a lot of people who would like to make some positive changes in their lives regarding health habits.

However, they do not carry out their goals to make these changes because they do not plan accordingly.

In order to eat healthy, you need to shop for healthy foods ahead of time and prepare them and/ or have them ready to grab and go.

It is helpful to always have a healthy snack with you so that you do not grab unhealthy, fast food when you are out.

Also, plan ahead for exercise however you can fit that in your schedule. Take gym shoes with you. Keep them in your car. Plan to walk outside at work while you are on your lunch break for an example.

Drink more water and plan for this by taking a large water bottle with you when you leave the house and so on.

Plan and preparing makes for more health goal success!

Write down your health and self-care goals and then do one small thing toward these a week to start out! Then--- keep on adding more steps toward your goals.

We All Have a Father, a Heavenly Father!
Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers!

If you do not have a father, I hope that you can look back on your life and be thankful to people who helped or inspired you growing up.

I hope that you all can enjoy Father's Day and appreciate those who have made a positive and loving impact in your life.

Psalm 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.

No matter your family situation, you DO HAVE a FATHER! You have a Heavenly Father! God our Father loves you very much and He is Always there for you! Pray to him today!

Are you having a hard time finding hope in the world?

God gave His only Son to die in our place so that we, in all our brokenness, could know forgiveness.

He came so that we could know what love feels like, real love – love that never leaves, love that never disappoints, love that is never betrayed.

He sent His Son into a corrupted world to bring us hope.

Are you having a hard time finding peace?

It doesn't have to be that way.

You can have peace and find hope and know forgiveness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Praying is simply talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here's a suggested prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and ask You to come in as my Saviour and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Bring peace to my world this Christmas. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, pray it right now and Christ will come into your life as He promised. If you invited Jesus Christ into your life, thank God often that He is in your life, that He will never leave you and that you have eternal life.

The Story of Jesus

"About that time Caesar Augustus ordered a census to be taken throughout the Empire. This was the first census when Quirinius was the governor of Syria. Everyone had to travel to his hometown to be accounted for. So Joseph went from the Galilean town of Nazareth up to Bethlehem in Judah, David's hometown, for the census. As a decendant of David he had to go there.

He went with Mary, his fiancee, who was pregnant. While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. She gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped Him in a blanket and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the hostel.

There were shepherds camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep.

Suddenly, God's angel stood among them and God's glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you're to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger."

At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God's praises: "Glory to God in the heavenly heights; Peace to all men and women on earth who please Him."

As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the shepherds talked it over. "Let's get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us." They left, running, and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger.

Seeing was believing. They told everyone they met what the angels had said about this child. All who heard the shepherds were impressed.
Mary kept all these things to herself, holding them dear, deep within herself. The shepherds returned and let loose, glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen. It turned out exactly the way they'd been told!"  (Luke 2:1-20).

When Life Becomes Difficult To Continue To Stand, Kneel Down and Pray!
When faced with adversity, it is easy to become discouraged and hopeless.

Many times, we think that we cannot go on and that nobody cares.

However, there is someone who always care. He is always there for you.

Pray to God. He wants to hear from you. he cares about your pain. Cast your anxiety on Him.

You CAN Adjust How You Handle Difficulties
You do not have control over certain situations.

However, You can always adjust how to handle situations!

Circumstances may be out of your control, but you can MANAGE how you deal with things.

You are always in control of how you respond to situation and others.

You are always in control with how much you let something or someone 'get to you'.

Remember that you cannot control what comes your way but that you can always control how to respond and choose to handle it!

Choose Joy.

Choose to focus on positive and productive thoughts.

Let go of what is out of your control.

Choose to demonstrate positive coping skills to handle stress.

Choose to not let a negative situation or person consume or control your emotions or your life.

The True Definition of Health
Health is just not the absence of illness.

Health is the complete state of physical, social, mental, and spiritual  well-being.

We need to keep striving for optimum health in every aspect.

Our individual lifestyle factors play into our health and how we choose to take care of ourselves.

Our social network also plays into how we demonstrate our attitudes and behaviors toward out health.

Next, our income level along with our cultural and environmental conditions affect how we demonstrate behaviors toward our health.

Our basic biological needs must be meant in order to be healthy such as air, water, food, shelter, etc. along with interactions with others.

Ask yourself today..........what you may can do differently to work on your health. Also, ask yourself which specific area that you would like to improve your health and life.

Once you identify this, write down specific small ways in which you can work on positive changes for improved health.

Turn Your Dreams Into a Plan- and Go Somewhere!
Why just dream?

Why not turn your dreams and aspirations into goals and make a plan?

Make a vision board and cut and paste pictures of your dreams and goals.

Write down specifically what you would like to do with your passions.

Then, write down steps that you can take to put your plan into action.

Take the first small step and keep working on your plan.

Keep working toward your plan even if you do not have a lot of time to devote to it.

Forward is forward, no matter the pace.
