Let Go of Negative Strongholds- of What Others Have Inflicted on You
Are there negative concepts in your life that you hold on to tight?

Do you chose to believe something that someone told you about yourself that was negative?

Lets say that someone in your life told you that you would not amount to anything.

This person many have been out of your life now for many years or even have passed away--- however- you still hold on to what they told you!!

You go around in life thinking to yourself, "I am a nobody, _______ told me so".

Can you relate to something similar to that?

Are you holding on to a negative concept about yourself because of a another person?

It could be something that someone told you or it could have been because of abuse toward you that is the reason that you think negatively of yourself.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE, WORDS, OR EXPERIENCES HOLD YOU BACK FROM BEING THE PERSON THAT YOU CAN BE-- OR FROM YOU ENJOYING YOUR LIFE!

Do not give them this power.

Lear how to forgive them and get into counseling to learn how to move past the past of negative influences.

Ways To Redirect Your Child / Help Them To Calm Down
Here are some helpful tips to help redirect your child when they are beginning to act out or when they are angry.

You can read to them.

You can have them engage in an art project.

You can take them outside and have them calm down by getting fresh air and sunshine.

You can take them into your arms and just hold them.

You can teach your child breathing exercises.

You can have them draw how they are feeling.

You can have them pick out an animal to imitate.

You can play calming music for them.

You can play a game with them.

You can play tag with them.

You can roll a ball back and forth with them.

You can have them make up a story to tell you using their imagination.

You can have them engage in light exercise such as dancing.

You can blow bubbles for them.

You can build blocks with them.

You can make cookies out of play dough with them.

You can just grab them and lay on the floor and giggle with them.

You can give them a hug and tell them that everything will be okay and then tell them that hugs help....and have them hug their favorite toy.

There is ALWAYS HOPE! Hold On!

The greatest hope in the Christian faith is that of eternal life. This hope is based on Jesus Christ and your relationship with Him.

Pray to God and tell him your fears and give him your anxiety. He loves you and cares for you.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hopeRomans 15:13

Any Action Beats Intention
You can intend to do something all day long and for weeks, months, and years!

ACTION is needed for change.

Further, any action of a kind gesture for someone-  no matter how small- is a million times better than thinking about doing something to help someone else.

Do more than intend to do something-
for yourself and for others. ACT!

What You Will Allow- Will Continue
Are you upset because of the way that your life is going..a job? a relationship? a situation?

Do you stay where you are because you are afraid it will never get any better so you "settle"?

Most people stay in relationships/ jobs/ situations with the idea that people will change. While people can change, it is likely that the same type of behavior from a person will continue.

Thus, what you allow- will continue!

Ask yourself if you are living in denial and settling in a way because you will not be able to do better?

What would you like to change in your life and what can be the first step for that change?
