Biblical Comfort Regarding Miscarriage

Any believer who has suffered a miscarriage should have faith in the glorious hope of one day seeing her child again.

An unborn child is just not a fetus or a “piece of tissue” to God, but is one of His children. Jeremiah 1:5 says that God knows us while we are still in the womb.

Lamentations 3:33 tells us that God “does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.”

Jesus promised to leave us with a gift of peace unlike any that the world can give (John 14:27).

Romans 11:36 reminds us that everything exists by God's power and is intended for His glory.

Although He does not inflict suffering on us for punishment, He will allow things to come into our lives that we can use to bring glory to Him. Jesus said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

When Your Child Loses a Child- A Personal Story
I have personally experienced 5 miscarriages and also delivered a baby girl too soon who died after an hour and a half.

I know the pain. I understand the pain.

After 5 losses in a row, I went on to get pregnant again and had a healthy daughter.

When my oldest daughter first got pregnant, it was difficult for me to get excited. I feared that something could go wrong because of all of my losses.

Then, my first granddaughter was born with multiple heart defects. She has many medical issues but she is alive and is the light of my life.

I had three more healthy granddaughters.

Then, one of my daughters became pregnant again and lost her baby. She miscarried in her second trimester. My first grandson was born too soon and passed away. My daughter miscarried in an extremely traumatic way.

The only worse than losing a baby is watching your daughter lose her baby.

My heart ached so much that is was nearly unbearable. I wanted to take my daughter's pain away.

My grandson's tombstone came in today to mark his resting place.

The emotional pain from miscarriage and infant loss is excruciating. It is also very traumatic in most situations.

So, mothers and other family members not only have their loss to deal with but also the aftermath of experiencing a trauma.

If you or someone that you know has experienced such a loss, there is help and hope.

What Do You Want? Make The Leap Toward it Today!
Are you who you want to be?

What is keeping you from jumping with a leap of faith and courage to change your life for the better?

Sometimes, it is more comfortable to stay and live in fear and with what is familiar for us.

Change can be frightening.

Trying can be frightening.

But here is nothing worse than not even trying to work on positive changes in your life.

What do you want? Who do you want to be? Are you living life as your authentic self?

If not, why not?

Be true to yourself.

Be proud of being YOU.

Take the jump toward what needs to happen so that you can live more abundantly today!
