Thankful But Feeling Sad and All Alone?
I know that with Thanksgiving approaching that it can be a very sad and isolating time for many. It does not mean that you are not thankful for the blessings in your life. Just know that you can be thankful and sad/ depressed at the same time. People in your life may not understand and that is okay. Allow yourself to feel what you feel. Do what you need to do to get through the holiday. Know that it is normal for a lot of people to have a difficult time with the holidays approaching. Seek support, increase coping skills  and be easy on yourself. Also, know that God loves you with an ever lasting love and you are forever his child.

If you or someone you know is suicidal and needs immediate attention, call 911, go to your nearest hospital emergency room, or contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at:

Depression - It Can Feel Lonely
Depression can make you feel all kinds of ways. One way that depression can make you feel is very lonely. Someone who is depressed and/or has anxiety can feel alone even in a room full of people. They can also feel lonely even in a group of people. Depression can feel very isolating in so many ways.

While it is very healthy to enjoy your own company alone, being social is also very healthy. However, it’s very difficult to be friendly when you are depressed. It is best to try to be social but to also give yourself grace and stay home if you really feel you need to do so. Just make sure that you try to be social soon after. Try to start out small with a short time frame or with maybe a small group of people.

- And there is always hope for depression, anxiety and social anxiety. Seek help and don’t ever give up!

Talking About Loved Ones Who Have Passed
This photo in this quote is wonderful! It is straight into the point and so very true. Some people feel like if they bring up something sad like the fact that someone has passed that it will upset someone else.

The truth is that the person who is grieving a loss will be happy that you brought this up. So many people do not know what to say. So many people avoid saying anything because they don’t know what to say when somebody loses somebody. So mentioning that you acknowledge that somebody lost somebody will probably make their heart smile! Most people will want to talk about it or at least have it acknowledged by others. So just remember that bringing a loss up is not going to put it in someone’s mind or heart. It is already in their mind and heart. It will just warm their heart and mind that you remembered and thought of them!

Thanksgiving Approaching - Lonely For Many
With Thanksgiving approaching, it can be a very sad, lonely and difficult time for many people. While many people celebrate with close family and friends, many people do not have anyone in their life to spend the holiday with. I would like to encourage you to reach out to someone who may be feeling alone during this season.

May these days before Thanksgiving fill your heart with joy and gratitude.

If you are someone who is having a difficult time as Thanksgiving approaches, please believe that good things are on the way for your life!

Those Tapes Playing In Your Mind Of Pain- Learn How To Reprogram Them

Are you struggling with playing old re-runs of emotional pain in your mind?

Do you find yourself focusing on your mistakes or how someone hurt you, rejected you?

Do you relive the way that someone made you feel?

You can choose to detach from these thoughts playing over and over in your head.

You can free yourself from this bondage.

____________________

You first need to admit and get out what is hurting you. Do not stuff it or sweep it under the rug.

You need to feel to heal.

You need to go through something to get to the other side of healing.

Acknowledge that you are replaying negative tapes in your mind that you don't need to anymore.

Seek help with working through this pain.

You can live with being free of these negative thought patterns and tapes.

Choose healing. Choose to live a new life with new self messages!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
